Awarded the coveted 5 star rating in the holiday accommodation category by the French Tourist Board, 18th Century Manoir Les Gaillardoux is equally suited for a get-together of up to 12 guests or for an intimate party of 2. The Manoir offers exclusivity, space, privacy,  style and 5* comfort  from which to explore the many charms of this gastronomic region.

Stone-built Manoir Les Gaillardoux sits in its own 1.25 hectare park and orchard, and comprises the main house, north wing and stone outbuildings, including a large, pillared coach house and 'pigeonnier', combining the comfort of a luxury villa with the inimitable charms and style of a period Manoir.

The Manoir is generously equipped for indoor and outdoor comfort and relaxation...

The large heated salt water swimming pool is partly-walled and faces south to make the most of the good weather from May to October. 12 loungers with cushions and some sunshades provide comfort and shade for all guests. The park offers further areas of shade and sunshine for play or relaxation.  
Surrounded by lavender, thyme, rosemary and geraniums, the spacious terrace is equipped for outdoor eating in comfort and boasts an Australian “outdoor kitchen” barbecue.  From its elevated position, you can enjoy views of the park and beyond - perfect for a candlelit dinner under the stars, or a lazy lunch.

Indoors, spacious living rooms with beams, antique tiled floors, thick oak doors and views over the countryside or the courtyard contribute to the charm and comfort of the Manoir: 2 lounges, a billiard room and a dining room with a large stone fireplace – with music centre, DVD players, satellite TV and wireless Internet facility. A spacious fully equipped gourmet kitchen offers many opportunities for amateur “chefs” to experiment. 

The Master bedroom suite comprises bedroom with double bed, dressing room, boudoir, private bathroom with Jacuzzi, shower and separate WC, while the further 5 bedrooms each have an en-suite shower room with WC and can be made up with single or double beds to suit guests’ needs. Bed linen is provided, as is an ample supply of bathroom and pool towels, with fresh sets weekly on Saturdays. Hairdryer in every suite.

Our weekly fee of 5,250 euros is payable in 2 instalments, by bank transfers to owners' euro account:
- On reservation, to secure booking: 50% of total rental fee for period + 50% of refundable deposit
- 6 weeks prior to arrival: balance of rental fee + balance of refundable deposit.
Our weekly fee includes thorough cleaning of the interior of the Manoir before your arrival, weekly cleaning for multiple week rentals, supply and change of bedding and a generous weekly supply of bath and pool towels. Also laundry washing products and other everyday necessities… More services are available by prior arrangement, including airport collection. Please ask for details and quote.

If you like rural SW France, you will love the wild landscape and wide open skies of the Causses du Quercy Blanc, with its rich tradition of gastronomy and conviviality, its history and many fine examples of medieval architecture. The area enjoys a dry, sunny climate with mild spring and autumn weather, making it possible to live outdoors for a large part of the year.

“In August 2012 we spent 2 wonderful weeks at Manoir Les Gaillardoux.  We were a family party of 10, with ages ranging from 9 years to the mid seventies.
The house accommodated our varying needs to perfection.  With 6 young people ensconced in the cleverly adapted wing with billiard room, TV and access to their own outside entrance through the small conservatory, whilst the rest of us luxuriated in the quiet and elegant main part of the house.
Everything in the Manoir has been tastefully done with an eye for comfort and peace.  The well-facilitated kitchen and laundry area made our day-to-day living so easy whilst holidaying with my family.  The grounds were well tended and gave one private areas to read, ruminate or just enjoy the beautiful country views, whilst the more active members of the party were occupied in the pool area or just lounging on the comfortable sunbeds.

"A landmark house in one of the most beautiful parts of France!  Le Manoir des Gaillardoux was a spectacular point of departure for the birthday week in September. The house is an amazing piece of architecture as all the architects and designers in the group agreed.  It was a perfect setting for my friends from around the globe to gather and share a week of cooking; sampling; visiting; celebrating and thoroughly enjoying each other’s company in this wonderful region full of historical and natural sites to visit; fabulous restaurants, products and wine to sample and a gracious lifestyle to experience.
On arrival, we were met by the Manoir’s very gracious house manager, who introduced us to the house and all of its wonders, the handsome grounds; the meticulously designed accommodations and the extremely high standard of equipment at our disposal during our stay.  No detail has been overlooking in the planning of this holiday house and a stay here feels like coming home.  The house offers many spacious areas for guests to gather or to seek a moment of solitude.  The pool area and the terrace off the dining room and kitchen were favourites for most, the sumptuous stone stairwell was mine. 
Many thanks to the owners who went out of their way to assist in making this a very special memory.  Being very exacting, I was extremely pleased as were all of my guests.
